PeeWee Girls B, Girls Hockey, 2019-2020 (Mitchell Minor Hockey)

The Mitchell Meteors PeeWee Girls B team advanced to the Provincials Tournament in Toronto in early April with a victory over the Huron Heat on March 6. The Heat pushed the Meteors to three games - the first two games both ended in a draw.  The Meteors needed the win to break the deadlocked series in order to qualify for Provincials. Teagan Mace potted the series winner, assisted by Kora Smith.   A strong defensive effort throughout the series, bolstered by the play of goaltenders  Smith and Alison Vogels held the Heat to a single goal in the three game series.  

The J.P. Uniac Insurance Peewee B Girls had a great weekend winning Silver at the 39th annual Walter Gretzky Tournament in Brantford.
