3 Game wrap up
November 26th saw the Ven Gerwin Sun Life Bantam LL Meteors head up HWY #8 to play the BCH Ice Dogs 1. James McCarthy and Sam Huettlin had the goals in first period with assists going to Jaxen Hartwig and Noah Mann. BCH goal also in the 1st as well as one in the third period which knotted up the game. Good penalty killing by the Meteor defense and some big saves from Hayden Beuermann kept the road game a draw.

November 30th had the Meteors at home for a Hockey Night in Canada Saturday exhibition match against the Defenders from Drayton. Another solid 1st period netting the home team with three goals from Noah Mann (Ethan Meinen) Jaxon Hartwig (Ethan Dearing) and Grayson Yost (Daniel Ogilvie) VS the Defenders single goal. Second period tightened up after the Defenders got an early goal but James McCarthy from Ethan Meinen regained the 2 goal cushion back for the home side in a late 2nd period goal. Third period saw the Meteors turn to being defenders themselves with the defense of Jake Crowley, Dearing, Yost, Liam Brodhagen, Logan Ruby and Ogilvie in front of Beuermann allow the team to hang on for a 4-3 victory.

December 6th saw a rematch with BCH 1 after the 2-2 draw mentioned earlier. That game, which what was generally thought of as a drab game in Clinton, our Meteors opened up the rematch with FOUR 1st period goals - a pair each from Jarret VanBakel (Yost and Jake Crowley) and Jaxon Hartwig (Meinen, Meinen and McCarthy) against the visitors zero goal effort. The second period saw the visitors get on the board but solid game play from both forwards and defense and good goal tending from Beuermann kept the home team up. If that weren't enough, in the third we saw James McCarthy net two more (assists to each Ethan and Jaxon) vs the visiting teams single marker making a great bounce back 6-2 win for the home team.

Go Meteors!!
