Novice Rep, U8 Boys, 2017-2018 (Mitchell Minor Hockey)

The McLaughlin's Auto Wholesaling Novice Rep team had a great a weekend at the Maple Syrup County Tournament in Elmvale.  They played well with a 1-1-1 record and they thoroughly enjoyed a fun weekend together in the Horseshoe Valley.  It was a fitting end to their exciting season as they all got along so well and enjoy each other’s company.

The McLaughlin's Auto Wholesaling Novice Rep team has had some ups and downs during the playoff season however the downs have been overshadowed by two straight wins in their most recent games so they have earned a spot competing in the WOAA Twolan Consolation Final against the Listowel Cyclones.

It was a great way to finish the regular season as the McLaughlin's Auto Wholesaling Novice Rep team defeated the Mount Forest Rams 4-1 on Sunday. Once again the Meteors showed the depth of talent on the bench as the goals were shared amongst Carson Brown, Carson Lubbers, Nate Uniac and Owen Beuermann.  Assists were contributed by Jake Richardson, Owen Beuermann, Isaak Smith, Carson Brown and Landon VanBakel.  Carter Miller was on his game as he made many crucial saves to keep the Rams at bay.

There was a lot of action this past weekend as the McLaughlin's Auto Wholesaling Novice Rep team took a victory at home and a loss on the road.  

On Friday the McLaughlin's Auto Wholesaling Novice Rep team faced off with the Central Perth Predators in Monkton.  The boys were fortunate to have Abigayle VanBakel join their roster for this exhibition game.  Landon VanBakel and Owen Beureman both played very well and each scored a goal however, it was Abigayle VanBakel who gave all the boys a lesson on puck handling and determination.
