Atom Girls HL, Girls Hockey, 2016-2017 (Mitchell Minor Hockey)

The Mitchell Meteor  Atom HL girls took the silver in the Walter Gretzky tournament, sporting a 3-1-1 record over the weekend.

The Lambton Attack were slain twice over by the Mitchell Meteors Atom HL girls on Saturday, Feb 21.  The Meteors also earned a tie the following day vs a strong Lambeth Lancers squad.

The Mitchell Meteors Atom Girls HL team took South Huron's annual Pink on the Rink tournament by storm this past weekend - winning all of their games en route to the championship title.

The lady meteors were carried by Allyson Vogels to victory with three straight shutouts over the past week.  

The Atom Girls HL Meteors registered a win and a tie over the weekend.  A deadlock with the South Huron Sabres and a big victory over the Lambton Attack earned them a current first place berth in their division.   The girls battled to a 3-3 tie with the Sabres in a first game see-saw. The Sabres broke a 2-2 tie with 2 minutes left, but the Meteors capitalized on some poor defensive zone coverage by the opposition and salvaged a tie with barely a minute remaining. Josie Walker popped in the first, and Jade Huygen scored the following two goals.  Peyton Vanderkuylen, Aubrey Vosper, Brooklyn ...
