Finding themselves down by 5 goals, the Meteors cranked it up a notch. Brooklyn Boville positioned herself in front of the net for a perfect tap in off a centering pass by Jade Huygen. Moments later, Kora Smith blew by everybody to chase down the puck, rolled it over the St. Mary's goalie, and snuck in behind to tap it in. Sadie Josling provided strong puck support throughout the game.
Although they fell short, the Meteors showed promise that they'll give the Rock more of a fight in the future.
