The lady meteors were carried by Allyson Vogels to victory with three straight shutouts over the past week.
They defeated the Lucan Irish in a tight 1-0 battle on November 27, with Brooklyn French scoring the lone goal of the game. Brooklyn Boville drew the assist.
On December 3 in Embro, the girls faced terrific goaltending by the offensively challenged West Oxford Inferno, but still managed to eke out a 2-0 win. Boville and Jade Huygen both dabbed for in the match-up.
The following day at home, the Meteors doubled their offense against the Inferno, mounting a 4-0 win. BB plugged in a hattrick while Huygen added the other goal. Josie Walker, Rachel Haefling, Aubrey Vosper and Charles Gethke contributed the assists. Hayden Uniac and Peyton Vanderkuylen constructed a Trump wall on the blueline with some fine defensive play, and Haefling provided momentum with an aggressive forecheck throughout the game.
