The little lady Meteors picked up a pair of wins over the weekend to open up the WOGHL regular season. On Saturday in South Huron, the girls squeaked out a 3-2 victory over the Sabres. Hayden Uniac, Brooklyn French and Brooklyn Boville tallied in the win. Netminder Allyson Vogels picked up the win as well as an assist in the game.
Vogels shut the door on West Oxford on Sunday in Monkton, where the Meteors delivered a 6-0 victory over the Inferno. Sadie Josling, Boville, and Jade Huygen each collected a pair of goals. Josie Walker, Peyton Vanderkuylen, BB Boville, and Frenchie each gathered two assists in the win.
Rachel Haefling notched 4 assists on the weekend, with Aubrey Vosper adding a pair. Charlee Gethke was a tigress on the blueline.
