U9 GOLD, U9 Boys, 2022-2023 (Mitchell Minor Hockey)

On Tuesday March 28th, the T1 U9 McKee Concrete Meteors met for one last match up against the Listowel Cyclones.  

Over the weekend the McKee Concrete U9 Gold team travelled to Mount Forest to participate in the U9 Jamboree. 

This weekend the McKee Concrete U9 Gold Mitchell Meteors played in the Bill Batten Memorial tournament. 

On Wednesday, February 01, the McKee Concrete U9 Gold boys hosted the Listowel Cyclones Early in the first period, Listowel got on the board first, but soon after the Meteors quickly responded with a goal Pennings.  In the second period the boys hustled hard and got back to back goals by Verberne and Vallance to come out with a 3-1 lead. On Sunday January 29, the McKee concrete U9 Gold hosted the Saugeen Shores.  The game started with a quick goal by Furtney early in the first period with a nice one-timer attempt by Pennings soon after. Saugeen Shores responded with a goal to tie it up late in the first period. Saugeen shores would go on to score 3 goals in the second period and one in the 3rd period to win the game 5-1
