The game started with a quick goal by Furtney early in the first period with a nice one-timer attempt by Pennings soon after. Saugeen Shores responded with a goal to tie it up late in the first period. Saugeen shores would go on to score 3 goals in the second period and one in the 3rd period to win the game 5-1
