Over the weekend the McKee Concrete U9 Gold team travelled to Mount Forest to participate in the U9 Jamboree.
On Friday, they first met the Kincardine Kinucks. At the end of the first, Mitchell was trailing 0-3. The second period saw the boys passing and taking more shots. Two goals were added by Roosendaal, who was assisted by Pennings and Coyne. Kincardine won the game 5-2.
Friday afternoon, they played the host the Mount Forest Rams and lost 6-0.
On Saturday, the team played the Drayton Defenders. The first period saw a very good defensive game keeping the Defenders to one point in the first. At the beginning of the first period Pennings tied the game with a short handed goal. By the end of the second the Defenders were leading 5-2. The third period, the boys ran out of gas and lost 10-2.
