Mitchell Vs Shallow Lake
On Saturday January 21 the Mckee Concrete U9 Gold Mitchell Meteors travelled to Shallow lake to take on the the Lakers. This was the second full ice game for the Meteors. The first period opened up with goals by Pennings and Furtney, to make it a 2-0 game. Shallow lake came back with 2 goals to tie it 2-2 in the second period. The Meteors responded by scoring 2 more goals in the third period by Ryan and Elligsen to come out on top 4-2. Good defensive play and goaltending by Walt kept the win in check
