Final Game of the Season
On Tuesday March 28th, the T1 U9 McKee Concrete Meteors met for one last match up against the Listowel Cyclones.
It was a tight Meteors vs Cyclones game through the first and second periods with Furtney and Pennings netting goals for Mitchell. However, the Cyclones led 3-2 as the second period closed. There were lots of great puck battles and steals along the way keeping the Meteors fighting for the Win. In the third, the Cyclones netted two quick goals pulling ahead 5-2. The team played hard until the final buzzer with Kelly adding a third for Mitchell. In the end Listowel took it 5-3.
It's been a great season watching the group learn, grow and have FUN! Thanks to all of the coaches, organizers and parents for making the season so enjoyable. Until next year!
