PeeWee Girls B, Girls Hockey, 2016-2017 (Mitchell Minor Hockey)

The Ace Country & Garden Peewee Girls B team represented Mitchell this past weekend in the Provincial Tournament in the Toronto Area.  They played 7 tough games over 3 days and came away being the 4th best team in the Peewee B division in Ontario.   Our little team proved to many larger centres that we had what it takes to be a top contending team. The Tru Country Peewee Girls B have played a few exhibition games to hold them over till we head to Provincials this weekend.  The girls continued their dominated play over their opponents with 3 shutout wins, another win and a loss.

The Tru Country Peewee Girls B team just swept St Marys in our play down series to go to the Provincial tournament the weekend of April 7th-9th. 

Wow, what a weekend for our Tru Country Peewee Girls B team as they shocked all the teams in the Peewee B division at the 36th Annual Walter Gretzky Tournament in Brantford this weekend.  Our girls were golden as they won 5 straight games with only allowing 1 goal against.  We had stellar defense, hot scoring and solid goaltending to lead them to the Championship Banner and the gold medal.

The Tru Country Peewee Girls had their first game in their provincial playdown series vs St Marys on Saturday and came out victorious.
