Meteors Top Cyclones
In a fast paced and high energy game the Thompsons Atom AE Meteors were able to beat the Listowel Cyclones in WOAA round robin action,  at home on Sunday afternoon. Both teams came out of the gates flying and did not slow the pace for the entire game. Caleb Templeman would put Mitchell on the board early in the first period on an assist by Kyle Mills. Listowel would strike back to tie the game before the end of the period.

In the second period, the Meteors did a good job of keeping the puck in Listowel's end, as they kept the pressure on the Cyclones. Their hard work paid off as Mills was able to knock the puck past the Listowel goalie with the assist going to Brayden Glauser for what would be the game winning goal.

Action was end to end in the third period with strong defensive play by the Meteors defensive squad of Logan Ruby, Jake Crowley, Lucas Roobroeck, Evan O'Rourke and Blake Redfern. Goalie Brennen Vanderkuylen held the lead for the Meteors with heavy Listowel pressure in the final minute as they pulled their goalie in one last effort to score.

The Atom AE's will begin their next OMHA series against Ilderton next Friday at home.
