The Dodge Caravan AE
Novices came out skating hard, when they met up with the Wallace Sabers on
Saturday, November 14th in Kurtzville.
The Sabers and the Meteors fought the entire first period on both ends of the rink, and even though Mitchell scored first on a pass from Ryan Glauser to Payton Wood, that would be the only goal they would see for the day. Several forwards had great scoring opportunities, and the defensive lines did an excellent job of clearing out the puck. Even though the Sabers came out on top with a 4-1 win over the Meteors, Mitchell played a great end-to-end game. Everyone stepped up and gave their best efforts and Keagan Meinen made several huge saves in the loss.
The Dodge Caravan Novices are looking forward to travelling to Collingwood this coming weekend for their AE Silverstick Tournament, and given the level of competition they have faced in their regular league play, and how far they have come together as a team, they are hoping to do really well. Best of luck boys... Let's Go Meteors!
