Atom LL win against Goderich Sailors
Atom LL MCR Advanced Collision beat the Goderich Sailors Sunday night, keeping them in fourth place in the league standings. It was a scoreless first period and Goderich opened up the scoring in the second period. Mitchell finally got on the scoreboard with Basil Voros scoring 30 seconds into the third period, assisted by Andreas Harmer and Sam Huettlin.
Mitchell received a penalty yet were successful at preventing Goderich scoring on a power play. Voros was able to score again, unassisted, giving them the lead. With 2 minutes left in the game, Mitchell received another penalty, while Goderich pulled their goalie, giving them a 2 man advantage. The Meteors remained strong in the defensive end, winning the game 2-1.
