Atom LL win first game of playoffs
Mitchell Meteors MCR Advanced Collision Atom LL team won their first playoff game on Saturday, February 14 against the Lucknow Sepoys.

It was a hard fought brisk pace throughout the entire game.  Six minutes into the game, a power play for Mitchell gave the team an extra player but were unable to get passed the strong defensive line and the first period remained scoreless. Mitchell was shorthanded at the beginning of the second period but held together keeping it scoreless. Throughout the period, Jack Steinbach and Jason Mills both had great chances to score while Brennen Vanderkuylen made a few great saves.  With three minutes left, Basil Voros and Jason Mills help set up Logan Nugent to score the Meteors first goal. We held onto the lead until eight minutes into the third period when Lucknow scored. Kyle Mills made a great defensive play preventing the Sepoys from scoring and the game was 1-1 at the end of regulation time. Finally, Jason Mills scored the game winning goal, unassisted, eight minutes into overtime. Great plays were also seen from Evan O'Rourke and Owen McKenzie.

The Meteors play their next game Tuesday night against Blyth-Brussels Burgundy in Brussels and back home on Sunday against Lucknow.
