Tie for Atom LL
It was a tough game for Atom LL MCR Advanced Collision against the Lucknow Sepoys. The first period remained scoreless even with Lucknow's best efforts to score on a power play at the end of the period.
In the second period, Logan Ruby and Kyle Mills help set up Josh Mills, who brought the puck up from the centre line and flipped it up over the goalie to score for Mitchell. The period saw two more power plays for Lucknow but the Meteors continued to play hard and prevented the other team from scoring.
Mitchell finally got their chance for a power play half way into the third period but were unable to get the puck in the net. One more time, they found themselves short handed, however, the Meteors persisted and fought off the penalty. Brennen Vanderkuylen had two great saves, one from a break away and another from a face off. With 42 seconds left in the game, Lucknow scored resulting in a 1-1 tie.
