Geiger Scores Two To Lead U15 Reps To Road Win
Charlie Geiger scored twice in less than a minute in the second period to overcome a 1-0 deficit as the Scotiabank U15 Meteor Reps came from behind to defeat the host Saugeen Shores Storm 4-3 in WOAA league action in Port Elgin on November 14th.
Leading 2-1 to start the third period after Geiger's pair of markers, Saugeen would tie the game early in the final frame before Carter O'Brien regained the lead from Hayden Nicholson and Ryan Hubbard. Nicholson would add his own goal a couple of minutes later, blasting a hard point shot in on the glove side. Hubbard would total three assists for the game, and Zack Siemon-Hergott chipped in with a pair. An additional helper was recorded by Ryan Glauser on Geiger's opening goal.
