15U Reps Finalists In Twin Centre Tournament
The Scotiabank 15U Meteor Reps competed in the Twin Centre Stars Rep Classic Tournament in Wellesley / St Clements on Nov 5-7th, going undefeated in round robin and semi-final play before falling 2-0 to the champion Ilderton Jets in the final.

The Meteors opened tournament play at 2pm on Fri Nov 5th against the host Stars team, holding on for a slim 1-0 victory on Ryan Hubbard's wraparound goal from Charlie Geiger late in the third period.  Joel Meinen would earn the shutout between the pipes.
The first game win earned a later start the next day, and the locals would meet up with the Char-lan Rebels from far eastern Ontario at 3pm, with the exact same result 1-0 victory on another Hubbard goal.  Porter Smith would record the shutout in this matchup.
Winning the first two games now secured a bye into the semi-finals on Sunday morning, matched up against the Tavistock Titans.  Bryce Otten opened the scoring in the first period with a bullet slapshot over the goalie's shoulder on a crisscross feed from defenseman Hayden Nicholson.  Otten would tally his second goal of the game midway through the third period, assisted by Bryce Dixon and Braden Hoegy.  Tavistock would pull the goalie in the last minute and rally for one goal with 46 seconds remaining, but the Meteor defense and Meinen's strong goaltending would shut the door and the locals were on their way to the championship game against Ilderton.
Despite playing their third game of the day, the Jets proved to be too strong for the Meteors to overcome, as they fell 2-0 to capture the silver medal in the tournament.
