Successful Weekend For PeeWee AE's
The New Orleans Pizza PeeWee AE Meteors completed a successful weekend in Port Elgin on Sunday with a 4-1 victory. The win coupled with the Saturday night result gives the locals a four point to zero lead in the six-point series, with the next game coming at home on February 3rd.

The Meteors would get the only goal of the opening period as Ethan Meinen would get the puck at his own blue line, skate the length of the ice and beat the Storm goalie to the glove side. Hayden Nicholson would get the assist.

Mitchell would score the first two goals of the second period. The first would come as captain Preston Porter made a nice toe drag in the slot, however the goalie would make the save but Porter would not be denied as he banged in the rebound over the fallen Saugeen Shores goalie. The next goal was scored off the stick of Noah Mann as he would bang in the puck on a goal mouth scramble. The Storm would get their only goal of the game in the closing seconds of the period. Assists in the period were awarded to Brock Boville, Lucas Mahon, Blake Redfern and Meinen.

The third period would see only one goal and it would be from Grayson Yost as he would break in alone and score to make the final 4-1.

Both Joel and Keagen Meinen stood tall for the Meteors all weekend between the pipes.
