Tough OT Loss For Meteors
The New Orleans Pizza PeeWee AE Meteors travelled to Listowel to face the Cyclones in WOAA playoff action on Monday night. The evenly matched teams battled through a scoreless first period with both teams getting a few good chances.

The Meteors would persist into the second period and get a power play goal off the stick of Preston Porter who fired a hard shot over the goalie's glove to make it 1-0. Assisting on the goal would be Carter O'Brien and Blake Redfern.
Three minutes later the Cyclones would answer with a goal of their own. At the four minute mark of the second Charlie Geiger would be dragged down on a breakaway resulting in a penalty shot. Geiger would make no mistake as he went in on the goalie, making a sweet dangle that would give the Meteors a 2-1 lead.

One minute into the third period, the Cyclones would again tie the game and eventually send it to overtime with both goalies shutting down shots for the remainder of the period. The Cyclones would take the win on a bouncing puck three minutes into the overtime period.
