Meteors and Cyclones Tie...Again!
The last time the New Orleans PeeWee AE Meteors played the Listowel Cyclones the game ended in a 2-2 tie, and this evening in Monkton, the evenly matched teams would end with a 3-3 tie. Listowel would open the scoring and get the lone goal of the first period.

Mitchell would get on the board four minutes into the second period when Blake Redfern would clear the puck from the Meteors end and get it up to Jacob Deitrich who would dangle around the Listowel defence to score. The Cyclones would answer back with two more goals making it 3-1 at the end of the second period.

After the flood, the Meteors would hit the fresh ice with good energy and a big job ahead of them. At the eight minute mark, Preston Porter would receive a pass up ice from Brock Boville and go in alone with a quick move in front of the net to beat the Cyclones goalie. The Meteors would keep up their hard work, not giving up on the puck and this would lead to the tying goal by Carter O'Brien with assists going to Noah Mann and Charlie Geiger.

With 2:30 left on the clock the Meteors would go on the power play, but would be unable to score and break the tie. At the Meteors end of the ice, Joel Meinen would come up with a huge glove save to protect the tie, and with just a few seconds left on the clock Redfern would chase down a Cyclone break away bringing an end to the game.

The Meteors will next face the Huron-Bruce Blizzard on Tuesday evening in Mitchell.
