The dodge caravan novice LL 2 team won the Woolwich cup in dominating fashion. The team went 5-0 on the weekend not surrendering a single goal in the tournament

. In net Dylan dietrich and Tatum vessie shared the net domination over the weekend. Dietrich with 3 shutouts and Vessie with 2. Another key factor to the defensive success was the strong defensive pairing of Landon Glauser and Luke krempien, the 2 barely allowed any shots on goal when they were maning the blueline. In round robin play the locals started the tournament off with a 8-0 thumping of Woolwich #1. The line of Masen Houghton, Reegan Vessie and Quaide Hoskins dominated the play all game with hoskins settin up a couple goals. The next game was the toughest test of the tournament against Woolwich #2. The locals dominated the play all game led by player of the game Caleb Pennings, but it wasnt until R. vessie slipped one past the goalie from a great lead pass from pennings to notch a goal for a 1-0 victory. In the final game of round robin the opponents Brock wild were in a must win mode. The game was scoreless when defenceman Brayden Baxter chased down a Brock player and made a diving stop on a breakaway. That sparked the offence, then Connor wolfe got the locals on the board with a snipe from the slot assisted by Lincoln Laverty. Carson Vosper continued his relentless forecheck, setting pennings up for another marker. Vosper was later named player of the game for everything he was doing on both ends of the ice. It was now onto the semis for a game versus Saugeen Shores, where Houghton would start the scoring off with a breakaway goal that was chipped up to him from Glauser. Laverty led the offence with a hatrick. The line of Wolfe, laverty and Vosper dominated the play all game not alowing the opponents any breathing room. Later on in the game krempien pulled a puck off the goaline preserving yet another shutout for t.vessie. The game ended in a 6-0 tally. In the finals it was a rematch with Woolwich #1 , r.vessie, houghton and wolfe added goals and the locals never looked back all game. Pennings was all over the ice forechecking and defending. The finals ended in a 3-0 result and a tournament victory. The offense was led all weekend by r.vessie, houghton, laverty and wolfe all of which had at least 4 goals on the weekend. The coaching staff of Scott Vosper, Cory Houghton Curtis Vessie and Adam wolfe, all were on the same page about why the team was so successful. All 12 of them played as a team, worked as a team and fed off eachothers success. It was not a 1 man show, it was all 12 of them giving it there all. Many opposing coaches commented about how hard our whole team played and never took a shift off. With the perfect weekend the team boosts there record to a impressive tally of 14-2-1
