Finishing up our last gamess before playoffs
As the Dodge Caravan kids Novice LL2 team fiishes uo their regular season games to get ready to begin playoffs.
On Saturday Jan 12th the boys faced Drayton Defenders in Monkton for 2pm game. The boys hit the ice with winning on their minds. The first period Reegan Vessie, Masen Houghton, an Quaide Hoskin started the team off with a 4-0 lead. They never stopped their, second period Tatum Vessie, Brayden Baxter, and Landon Glauser scored another 4 goals to finish that period 8-0. In the third we had more goals from R Vessie, Hoskin, Glauser, Pennings, Houghton to finish the game with victory win 15-0. Assisted with the goals working together as a team was Laverty, Pennings, Glauser, R Vessie and Hoskin.
Next Game was on Home ice in Mitchell on Jan 16th against our other Mitchell Novice LL1 team. They have a strong team and our one of our hardest competition. In the first period Reegan Vessie starts the team off by sliding one into the net past their goalie which got he boys on the board. Second period Caleb Pennings fought hard to make his way down the ice to score the second goal of the game following him with the third goal was R Vessie. In the third Reegan Vessie and Brayden Baxter worked together to score the fourth goal to tie the game 4-4 tie.Was a great fight from all the boys working together. Big shout out goes to our goalie with lots of great saves Tatum Vessie.
Next game was Jan 19th in Monkton vs BCH ice dogs. First period got started and heir was no holding back. R Vessie, Houghton, Pennings and Laverty all made their way through their defences to make the game 4-0 lead. Laverty started the second period off with another goal but BCH then scored to bring them on the score sheet at 5-1. Third period 4 more goals were added by Laverty, R Vesse, and Pennings to finish this game 9-1 victory. We couldn't have played a stronger game without all the saves from our goalie Dylan Dietrich.
The Last of our regular season game was Jan 23 against Listowel Cyclones White team. Was a great finish o our season game with a win 3-0 Goals scored this gam were by Reegan Vassie. Great team work Boys you have played a heck of a season always ready to play and trying to keep the action out of your end. Biggest shout out to the strong coaching staff we have for these boys they have kept them in line and brought each player to their full potential. Off to Dresden this coming weekend for one of last Tournaments Good Luck Novice LL2.
