PeeWee LL's Win Third Straight Game
The Mitchell Br. 128 PeeWee LL's won their third straight game Sunday night when they hosted the Minto Mad Dogs. The Meteors scored in each period on their way to a 4-1 victory.
The home side would lead after the first period by a score of 1-0 thanks to a breakaway goal from Preston Porter as he would beat the Mad Dog goalie to the blocker side.
Mitchell would increase the lead to 3-1 in the second period on goals by Jake Crowley on a hard shot from the high slot and Caleb Kay from the face off dot. Assists in the middle frame would come from the sticks of Jaxen Hartwig, Sam Huettlin, Logan Nugent and Porter.
The locals would put the game away in the final period when Zach Huygen would bang in a short-sided rebound assisted by Hartwig to make the final score 4-1.
