Over Time Loss For Pee Wee LL
The Legion Branch 128 Pee Wee LL Meteors travelled to Mt. Forest on Sunday afternoon to continue their play off schedule. Caleb Kay would score a hat trick in the 5-4 overtime loss that would be settled with a penalty shot.

Mount Forest would open the scoring early in the first period with a long shot from the point, but the Meteors would answer back just a minute later as Preston Porter would fire a high hard shot to the top corner to get Mitchell on the board. The remaining Meteor's scoring would come from the stick of Caleb Kay as he would net two goals on the same shift in the second period, followed by a goal to bring the game to a 4-4 tie late in the third period. Nolan Vessie would get 3 assists on the day, and Blake Redfern would also get an assist after making a perfect pass to the stick of Kay.

In overtime, the evenly matched teams would battle back and forth for control of the puck with good chances at both ends of the ice. With three minutes to play in the OT period, Mt. Forest would be awarded a penalty shot and score the game winner. The Meteors will continue their play off schedule facing BCH and Drayton next weekend.
