The Tie the loss and the win.
The Scotia Bank Mitchell Meteors Bantam LL team had an up and down week with a win a tie and a loss.

The Meteors started the week Monday night in Ripley against the Wolves.  Ripley opened the scoring with 3 minutes to go in the first, Mitchell quickly tied the game just over a minute later with Basil Voros scoring with assists going to Joey Adam and Kurtis DeJong.  Both teams scored 2 goals in the second to end the period 3-3.  Mitchell goals came from Joey Adam from Basil Voros and Jaden Faulkner and Will Steinbach from Basil Voros.  In the third period the Wolves scored a couple early goals to take a 5-3 lead but the Meteors fought back and scored two goals in the final 5 minutes to earn the tie.  The first goal was an unassisted goal by Dominic Voros and the final one was Coulter Rolph from PJ Marshall and Braeden McLean.

Ripley returned to Mitchell Wednesday night for the second game of the home and home.  The Meteors started off slow and soon found themselves down 2-0 after the first period and 5-0 after the second.  There was no quit in Mitchell and they got on the scoreboard with a goal from Joey Adam from Dominic Voros early in the third period.  Mitchell would get another goal from Brett Poirier from Dominic Voros and Coulter Rolph with 9 minutes left in the game.  The Meteors kept the pressure on but could not get another goal to lose 5-2.

The Scotia Bank Mitchell Meteors Bantam LL team ended the week with a trip to Brussels Saturday to play the Blyth Brussels Crusaders.  The Meteors dominated the penalty filled game from start to finish.  The Crusader’s goalie was excellent and despite many chances on him only allowed one goal.  Dominic Voros scored it from Braeden McLean just over a minute into the 2nd period.  That one goal would be enough as Meteor’s goalie Wade Monden earned the shutout.
