The Scotia Bank Mitchell Meteors Bantam LL team dropped 2 of 3 games this week.
The Meteors opened the week strong  winning their fifth in a row with a 5-2 win over the Central Perth Predators Monday night.  Jaden Faulkner opened the scoring four minutes into the first period assisted by Will Steinbach and Dominic Voros.  Less than a minute later Joey Adams made in 2-0 off of passes from PJ Marshall and Damen Roebroeck.  Central Perth cut the lead to 1 late in the first period.

The Meteors regained the 2 goal lead at the 12 minute mark of the second when Josh Duncan scored from Basil Voros and Coulter Rolph.  Once again however the Predators would make it a one goal lead late in the period.

That was as close as it would get as Mitchell scored 2 unanswered in the third from Duncan and Dominic Voros.  Duncan’s goal was assisted by Steinbach and Voros’ by Brett Poirier.

Wade Monden got the win in net.

The Scotia Bank Mitchell Meteors Bantam LL took their worst loss of the year 7-1 Wednesday night in Monkton against the Mount Forest Rams.  It was a rough penalty filled affair between the two teams.

The Meteors only goal came midway through the first period by Basil Voros assisted by Josh Duncan and Braedon McLean.

The Scotia Bank Mitchell Meteors Bantam LL travelled to Teeswater Sunday afternoon for a game against the South Bruce Blades.

Despite out playing and out shooting the Blades, Mitchell dropped the game 3-2.  The Blades opened the scoring late in the first period.  PJ Marshall answered for Mitchell at the eleven minute mark of the second with the assist going to Kurtis De Jong.

South Bruce would score 2 more in the second to start the third up 3-1.  Dominic Voros scored for Mitchell early in the third from De Jong.  Despite continued pressure on South Bruce throughout the third the Meteors could not beat a good Blades goalie and tie the game up.

Denzel Finlayson played another stellar game for the Meteors on defence.
