A Win & Loss this past Weekend
This past Saturday the Ace Country and
Garden PeeWee C girls downed Tilsenburg 2-1. Cydney Weir opened up
the scoring in the last minute of play in the second period assisted
by Jordyn Crawford and Lauren McKay. The opponents came back in the
3rd with a deflected shot off our defense bringing the
game to a tie. Brett Gethke scored the 2nd goal from the
point, also a deflection in the last 2 minutes of play which led the
girls to a victory.
Sunday however, they hosted against Mooretown. Unfortunately they weren't able to sneak one past their goalie and lost 2-0. The girls are heading off to Silver Stick this weekend in Saugeen. Go Meteors! Good luck girls!
