PeeWee C Girls Capture Gold in League Playoffs
The Ace Country and Garden PeeWee C girls captured the gold medal tonight against Lucan. Jaelyn Meinen found the net in the third period giving the girls a 1-0 edge. Nicole Hahn with .05 seconds left in the game scored on an empty with help from Meg Schoonderwoerd. Outstanding defensive play from all the girls and goaltending by Shawni DeJong led them to WOGHL league champs. Congratulations girls!
The team heads to Toronto April 6-8 to participate in Provincials. Good luck Meteors!
