Novice Girls Blanked In Sarnia, Shut Out Stratford
The Dodge Caravan Kids Meteor Novice 'C' Girls rounded out the weekend with a loss in Sarnia on February 24th, followed by a shutout of Stratford at home on February 25th.

Perhaps lulled to sleep by the 90-minute drive to Sarnia, the girls came out flat and couldn't get much generated offensively, dropping a 2-0 decision to the Sting in a WOGHL playoff game.  Goaltender Ellie MacArthur made some key saves to keep the score within a two-goal deficit.
On Sunday in Mitchell, the Meteors hosted the Stratford Aces Novice 'C' team in an OWHA Playdown game.  The girls found their missing offense from a day earlier, exploding for eight goals in an 8-0 shutout win.  Maren Marshall lead the goal scorers with four, and single markers were added by Abigayle Van Bakel, Ava Harmer, Zoey Michel, and Camryn Medhurst.  Kayla Visneskie and Alayna McKay each recorded two assists, and single helpers went to Macie Russwurm, Emma Groenestege, Avery Smith, Van Bakel, Harmer, and Marshall.  Selina Gethke earned the shutout between the pipes.
