Atom AE's Fall To Kinucks
The Thompson's Atom AE Meteors played the Kincardine Kinucks in Monkton on Saturday evening as their WOAA round robin playoffs continue. Despite solid play by the Meteors, the Kinucks would score three goals, one in each period, before the Meteors would get on the board in the third.

At the 10 minute mark of the third, Ryan Hubbard would get a pass behind the net from Ethan Meinen and with quick hands would beat the Kinucks goalie on a wrap around shot. The goal would light a fire for the Meteors who would continue to fire shots and keep pressure on Kincardine. The Kinucks would answer back, however, with one more goal to take their lead to 4-1. The Meteors would continue to press the Kinucks and keep the puck in their opponent's end for most of the remaining minutes. Noah Mann would manage to get a loose puck and score from the slot after a goal mouth scramble to cut the Kinuck's lead in half. Brayden Glauser and Jack Miller would get assists on the goal. The Meteors would pull their goalie for the last minute and would see a few good chances, but would be unable to beat the Kinucks goalie. Kincardine would take the game with a final score of 4-2.

The Meteors will play BCH on Wednesday, and then face Kincardine for a rematch next weekend to end their round robin schedule.
