Meteors Take Down Jets
In their second game of the Aylmer AE Tournament, the Thompson's Atom AE Meteors played a strong game and came away with 4-1 victory over the Ilderton Jets. The Meteors would take an early lead on a goal from the slot by Jack Miller after a pass right to his stick by Ryan Hubbard.

The second period would see end to end action, but with no scoring on either side. The Meteors, however would come close as a high shot from Brayden Glauser would ring off the crossbar. Colby Ryan played a strong game on defence and managed to shut down an Ilderton break away by stealing the puck away from the Jets during a penalty kill.

In the third, goalie Keegan Meinen would come up big shutting down a break away early in the period. Minutes later however, the Jets would manage to tie the game at one on a quick rebound shot. The Meteors would fire back with three goals in the last four minutes to cement their lead and take the win with good teamwork and passing to move the puck down the ice. Third period goals were scored by Carter O'Brien, Charlie Geiger and Brayden Glauser. Assists were given to Hubbard, Geiger, O'Brien, Ethan Meinen and Noah Mann. Joel Meinen was named player of the game for the Meteors.
