Caravan Kids Learning the Value of Teamwork
The Dodge Caravan Kids are starting to understand that the puck moves much faster when they pass it. This realization enabled them to maintain control over the puck as they defeated the Zurich Thunder this past Saturday at the Moncton arena.
Early in the first period, the defencemen, Nate, Lucas, Colby and Isaak, set the trend by passing to each other to evade the attack of the Thunder forwards. The Meteor forwards followed suit by digging the puck from the corners and passing to each other in front of the net creating several scoring opportunities. Even though the Thunder goal-tender was challenging to beat, the Caravan Kids managed to send the puck into the net seven times while Carter shut them out in his end leaving the score at 7-0.
The Caravan Kids have a busy weekend ahead as they take on Central Perth on Saturday and Goderich on Sunday so come on out and cheer on this young dynamic team.
