Caravan Kids Bounce Back
The Dodge Caravan Kids bounced back from a disappointing tournament last week by winning two straight regular season games this past weekend. On Saturday they headed up highway 8 to take on the Seaforth Stars. After a rusty first period the Caravan Kids managed to shut out the stars with a score of 7-0.
On Sunday they hosted Central Perth at the Mitchell arena. Right off the start the boys meant business as they finished the first period 7 goals ahead of Central Perth. With a considerable increase in physical play, the Caravan Kids showed just how tough they are by beating Central Perth 12-0. Throughout the games, each forward was credited with scoring at least one goal while each defenseman initiated excellent scoring opportunities by making several assists. Down in the meteor's end Carter M. confidently defended the net from several Central Perth attacks. This truly was an impressive team effort.
