December Report
The Synders Graphics PeeWee Girls have finished league games before the Christmas break with 2 wins, 1 loss and a tie. Some very hard fought battles in our last 4 games.

On Wednesday Dec 9th, our mighty Meteors traveled to Lambeth to take on the Lancers.  This game wouldn't be
much of a challenge for our high flying Meteors as we totally dominated the play from start to finished with Makayla Beuerman earning the shutout.  Taya Cornish would score twice in the first period with Erica Pletch earning the assist.  No scoring in the second but the third our gals thought they needed to add to our tally and that they did.  Taya Cornish would score for the hattrick of the game off the pass of Maggie Phillips and with time almost out Brooklyn Gethke would get our final goal from a defensive pass off Maggie Price's stick. Way to go girls, you rock!
We would get a couple days off before heading back that direction but to take on Ilderton this time.  That Friday night was not our night as nothing seemed to go right.  We would allow Ilderton to score 3 goals and hold us off the scoreboard. We loss 3-0, looks like we need a good practice to get our form back.
With almost a week since our last game, we would be on our turf for a rematch against the Lambeth Lancers. We started this game with some intensity and right off the opening faceoff Brooklyn Gethke with line mate Erica Pletch would score to get the good girls on the board, great start, let's keep it going.  The girls lined up again and this time Emma French would skate with that little black disk and score unassisted. Whew, up by 2 goals within the first minute of play.  As played continued to be back and fourth and Lambeth trying to get things going, they would score to cut our lead and end the first period.  Second period was not our period as we got a little sloppy and allowed Lambeth to tie the game.  Third period would be interesting as both teams wanted the win but only one could come out on top.  Halfway during this final period in such an exciting battle, Jaimie Badley would score the eventual winner with Alexa Hahn getting the assist. Buzzer would sound and this barn burner was over with our fiesty Meteors on top winning 4-3.
This past Sunday we took a road trip to Belmont to face BAD.  With lots of shots from each team but neither goalie willing to budge, Makayla Beuerman registered the shutout and despite chances our girls were also held off the scoreboard.
Now, the girls will have a bit of a break till the new year.
Great team work so far this season, looking forward to what the new year will bring!
