PeeWee LL Come out On Top
The Lockhart Pee Wee local league Mitchell Meteors hosted the MInto Mad Dogs Saturday night in Monkton.  Spencer Boyce opened the scoring for the home team with assists from Josh Bedour and Damen Roobroeck halfway through the first period. 

Mitchell would add 2 more goals in the second to lead 3-0 heading into the third period.  That’s when the flood gates would open.  The Meteors scored 5 more goals in the third.  Minto would answer with a goal with less than 2 minutes left to break up Charlie Woods shut out, giving the Meteors an 8-1 win.   PJ Marshall lead the way with 4 goals and an assist, Spencer Boyce had 2 goals and 1 assist, Will Steinbach and Josh Bedour each had a goal and an assist.  Basil Voros had 3 assists, Jack Steinbach had 2 assists and Roobroeck 1 assist.Sunday the Lockhart Pee Wee local league Mitchell Meteors traveled to Zurich to play the Thunder.  It was a chippy penalty filled affair.  Spencer Boyce would start the scoring off for the second game in a row with a goal with just 7 seconds left in the first.  The Meteors would add 2 more goals for a 3-0 lead in the second before a rash of penalties put three Meteors in the box and forced Mitchell to kill off a 5-3 for almost 3 minutes.  The successful penalty kill put some life into the Meteors and they came out and scored 5 more unanswered goals in the third for an 8-0 win.  Austin Weir recorded the shutout.  PJ Marshall had a hat trick and an assist,  Josh Bedour had 2 goals and an assist, Spencer Boyce had a goal and an assist, Keegan Hunt and Charlie Wood had the other goals.  Dominic Voros had 3 assists, Carter Yost and Braedon McLean had 2 assists.Despite starting slow in both games this past weekend the Lockhart Pee Wee local league Mitchell Meteors won their games by a combined score of 16-1.
