PeeWee LL Winning Streak Continues
The Lockhart Pee Wee local league Mitchell Meteors hosted the Zurich Thunder Friday night in Hensall.

The Meteors got off to a slow start and the game was tied 0-0 after the first period.  Mitchell caught fire in the second and scored three times to take the lead.  Charlie Wood opened the scoring from Basil Voros and Carter Yost.  Basil Voros potted the second goal with the assist to his brother Dominic and Yost got the third unassisted.  Zurich scored a goal early in the third but that was as close as they got as Mitchell would score 6 unanswered goals from there.  Yost, B. Voros, and Wood each scored their second, PJ Marshall added two and Spencer Boyce scored.  Boyce, D. Voros, Braedon McLean, Keegan Hunt and Jaden Faulkner all got assists.  Damon Roobroeck and Jason Mills had strong games on the blueline and Austin Weir got the win 9-1.

Saturday, The Lockhart Pee Wee local league Mitchell Meteors continued their dominance at home in Monkton against the Central Perth Drives.  Mitchell again started slowly, Dominic Voros scored the first goal of the game with just 17 seconds left in the first.  That was all Mitchell would need as they went on to win 7-0.  Carter Yost scored four goals, Spencer Boyce and Basil Voros would add the others.  Damen Roobroeck and Will Steinbach added a couple of assists, Josh Bedour, PJ Marshall, Yost and Keegan Hunt each had an assist.  Charlie Wood in net for the Meteors wasn’t called upon often but he made some great saves when he was needed.

The Lockhart Pee Wee local league Mitchell Meteors hosted the Seaforth Stars Sunday night in Mitchell. The Meteors scored early and often on way to an easy victory.  Braedon McLean caught fire and recorded his first career hat trick. Wood recorded his second shutout of the weekend.
