Novice LL, U8 Boys, 2015-2016 (Mitchell Minor Hockey)

The Dodge Caravan Novice LL would play host to the Hanover Falcon's in Mitchell Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 7:00pm.  The Falcon's riding a hot streak of 5 wins and only 1 loss in the Silver East division finals, would be coming into Mitchell on a winning streak ready to take the second game of the WOAA finals.  The Falcon's consisting of second year Novice players would call up a special young "AP" player who would add much needed offense.  In the end, the Hanover Falcon's would play an exceptional game and take the Central South Silver Championship with a score of 6-1.  The Falcon's young ...

The Dodge Caravan Novice LL would win the Central South Silver Division and move on to the finals to face the Hanover Falcons.  The first game would take place in Hanover at the P&H Center on Sunday, March 20th, 2016 at 4:00pm.  The Meteors would be down two valuable team members due to illness but would carry on to battle out the first playoff game.  Aedan McCann would get the call in net to open the series. 

The Dodge Caravan Novice LL would win pool "B" and go on to the finals for the second straight tournament coming just four days removed from winning gold in Parkhill.  Aedan McCann would get the call in net and with an exhausted Meteor's team in front of him and facing the only team to beat them in the tournament, Aedan was much deserving of the player of the finals honor.  The Titans just proved to be to much for the Meteors on this day taking the game 3-1.  Rogan Catalan managed the lone goal on an assist from Griffin Bree. 

The Dodge Caravan Novice LL's third game would come against the local St. Mary's Sharks.  Bryce Otten would get the call in net and see a lot of action for the exhausted Meteors.  Jonah Gibbings would take the player of the game honor for his strong defensive work during this games action.

The Dodge Caravan Novice LL second game would come three hours after their hard fought tie against the Pool "A" Tavistock Titans.  Aedan McCann would get the call in net and was well hydrated and ready to go.  Matthew Menheere would take the player of the game honor with his strong fore checking against the Titans.  With a player falling ill, Carson Brown would be called up and make it to St. Mary's to help fill in with strong play for the Meteors.
