St. Mary's Tournament Game 2
The Dodge Caravan Novice LL second game would come three hours after their hard fought tie against the Pool "A" Tavistock Titans. Aedan McCann would get the call in net and was well hydrated and ready to go. Matthew Menheere would take the player of the game honor with his strong fore checking against the Titans. With a player falling ill, Carson Brown would be called up and make it to St. Mary's to help fill in with strong play for the Meteors.
The Titan's would strike half way through the first period despite the Meteor's strong fore check and they would not equal the score ending 1-0. Next in the Second Period, the Titan's would come out strong again this time striking early and taking a 2-0 lead at the 7:59 mark. Again, the Meteor's played strong but could not register a score. Finally in the third period, Lucas Mahon would feed Matthew Menheere in front of the net who would let a super wrist shot go that the Titan's goalie had no chance of stopping. The game would end in a 2-1 score for the Titans.
