Novice Rep, U8 Boys, 2015-2016 (Mitchell Minor Hockey)

The McLaughlin Auto Wholesaling Novice Reps capped off an incredible season on March 26th, winning the WOAA Twolan Division Championship by sweeping the Saugeen Shores Storm in three games.  After a couple of high-scoring wins to open the series, the Meteors did not cruise to victory easily, narrowly winning the clinching Game 3 by a 2-1 score. 

The McLaughlin Auto Wholesaling Novice Reps hosted the Stratford Tier 2 Novice Warriors on March 20th in an exhibition matchup, defeating their Highway 8 neighbours by a score of 10-1. Once again the Meteors had their balanced attack on display, as many different players made the scoring summary. Jordan Visneskie led the locals in scoring with three goals, and Ryan Hubbard and Dominic Marshall each had a pair.  Singles were scored by Jack Miller, Colby Ryan, and Zach Houben.

The McLaughlin Auto Wholesaling Novice Reps travelled to Port Elgin on March 15th to face the Saugeen Shores Storm in Game 2 of their WOAA final, returning home with a 6-0 victory. A well-balanced offense was on display once again, as the attack was paced by six different goal scorers including Carter O'Brien, Ryan Hubbard, Dominic Marshall, Charlie Geiger, Zach Houben, and Jordan Visneskie.  Assists were recorded by Houben with a pair, Hubbard, O'Brien, Visneskie, and Kellen Russwurm.

The McLaughlin Auto Wholesaling Novice Reps drew first blood in their WOAA championship playoff series with a 7-3 victory at home over the Saugeen Shores Storm on March 13th. Jordan Visneskie opened the game with a natural hat trick, with assists awarded to Carter O'Brien and Ryan Hubbard.  Saugeen Shores would then get on the board with a powerplay marker with two minutes left in the second period.

The McLaughlin Auto Wholesaling Novice Reps hosted the Ilderton Jets on March 12th in an exhibition battle that featured constant end-to-end action.  At the end of the game, fans that purchased a seat were left wondering why they didn't just pay for the edge! The teams played a scoreless first period before Ilderton opened the scoring early in the second with a powerplay goal.
