Novice Reps add 2 more playoff wins
The McLaughlin Auto Wholesaling Novice Reps notched two more playoff wins this past weekend, beating the Kincardine Kinucks 5-1 at home on Saturday and returning home from Port Elgin on Sunday with a 5-0 victory over the Saugeen Shores Storm.
Jordan Visneskie paced the attack vs the Storm with two goals and two assists.  Other goal scorers were Dominic Marshall and Charlie Geiger, and Ryan Hubbard who would also earn an assist.

At home on Saturday, the visitors struck first on a breakaway with three minutes left in the opening period.  Goalie Jack Bree kept it a one-goal game, stopping another Kincardine shooter cold on a breakaway as the horn went to end the first.  The locals found their scoring touch in the second period, as Zach Houben banged in a Hubbard shot to tie the game, also assisted by Marshall.  Hubbard would then score the eventual winning goal, scooping up a loose puck from Houben behind the net for the wraparound.  Houben would add his second of the game with 0:01 remaining in the second period to make it a two-goal lead.  Marshall earned a spectacular assist on Hubbard's second goal of the game early in the third, with a strong forechecking effort behind the net to set up a one-timer in the slot.  Visneskie rounded out the scoring by grabbing his own rebound and stuffing in a wraparound, set up by Carter O'Brien.

Next up for the Meteors is hosting the Storm in Mitchell on Saturday March 12th.
