AE's Continue to Impress
Submitted By Jen Rolph on Wednesday, October 22, 2014
The Thompson's Atom AE team continued on their winning streak with 3 victories this past week.

The team started with a 1-0 win over Listowel Oct. 15.  Austin Weir and Charlie Wood combined for the shutout while Jamie Feltz scored his first goal of the season.

On Saturday, Wood backstopped Mitchell to a 6-1 win over Goderich.  PJ Marshall led the scoring with 2 goals while singles were scored by Andrew Van Bakel, Damon Roobroeck, Spencer Boyce, and callup Jack Steinbach.

Finishing out their weekend with an early morning drive to Kincardine, the boys came out victorious in a tough match against Kincardine.  They started out strong, jumping to a 3-0 lead with goals by Boyce, Evan MacArthur and Jamie Feltz.  Kincardine came back with two goals to make it a close game, but strong goaltending by Weir, aided by his defencemen Coulter Rolph, Daniel Reidy, Roobroeck and MacArthur preserved Mitchell's 3-2 win.

Great Job Boys!
