Visneskie Lead Novice AE's to 5-3 Win Over Drayton
Jordan Visneskie scored 4 goals leading his team to a 5-3 victory over the the Drayton Defenders on Saturday as the Novice AE Dodge Caravan Kids travelled to Drayton for Game One of their semi-final round robin play.

The game began with evenly matched play by both teams that lasted for most of the first period. During a scuffle in front of the Drayton net, Mitchell was able to take the lead as Brayden Glauser poked one past the Drayton goalie, with assists going to Charlie Geiger and Kellen Russwurm. With just seconds left in the period, Visneskie would score his first, with the assist going to Jack Miller to give the visitors a 2-0 lead.

Visneskie would score his second goal of the game in period two and Drayton would also make it on the board with two goals in the period.

The third period would bring excitement and edge of seat drama, as Visneskie would score on assists from Miller and Dominic Marshall, but moments later the Meteors would be forced to kill off six straight minutes in penalties. Goalie Jack Bree would snag multiple shots with a hot glove hand as he and his defense squad consisting of James McCarthy, Jake Crowley, Blake Redfern, Jack Small and Russwurm would shut down Drayton's power play. The Meteors offence would step up as well, with Visneskie scoring a short-handed goal as added insurance for the Meteors in the 5-3 win.
