Novice AE's Undefeated In Round Robin Semi-Final Play
The Novice AE Dodge Caravan Kids have extended their win streak in the playoffs with home and away wins against both Zurich and Drayton. On Saturday the Meteors played on home ice and defeated the Drayton Defenders with a 3-1 score.
Jordan Visneskie and Jack Miller would get the Meteors off to a strong start, each netting goals in the first period. Assists were given to Dominic Marshall and Visneskie. After a scoreless second period, Visneskie would get his second of the game on a pass from James McCarthy to bring the score to 3-0 for the home team.
The Meteors would come close to shutting out Drayton as goalie Jack Bree played a strong game in net, but with just seconds remaining in the game Drayton would net the puck bringing the final score to 3-1.
Mitchell will now wait to see whether they will be playing Drayton or Zurich in the final series.
