Novice AE Suffer 5-2 Loss
The Mitchell Meteors Novice AE Dodge Caravan Kids traveled to Blythe on Saturday to face the Blyth-Brussels Crusaders in exhibition play. Goalie Jack Bree looked sharp as he faced strong offensive play by the Crusaders. Play in the first two periods was close and well matched, but the Crusaders would pull away with the lead in the third period scoring three goals to bring a total of five against the Meteors.
Goals for Mitchell were scored by Brayden Glauser who netted an early goal in the first period, and James McCarthy who would score late in the third on an assist from Glauser. The Meteors will host the Minto Mad Dogs on Sunday in another exhibition match.
