Novice AE's Fall to Wallace 4-2
The Novice AE Dodge Caravan Kids travelled to Kurtzville on Saturday morning and fell short against the Wallace Sabres by a score of 4-2. Wallace scored the first two goals of the game to take a 2-0 lead after the first period.
The Meteors were buzzing around the Wallace goalie for most of the second period and they came up just short on many of their great chances. However, late in the period Mitchell would trim the lead to 2-1 as Brayden Glauser would hit the back of the net with assists from Jake Crowley and Dominic Marshall.
The Sabres would come out strong in the third stanza as they quickly potted two goals within the first couple of minutes to secure a 4-1 lead. Jack Small would score late in the game on an assist from James McCarthy to make the final 4-2.
