Solid Effort by the Novice Girls
Mitchell novice girls hosted St.Clair Saturday evening. Our girls continued to put forth a solid effort, digging for the puck and moving it out of our end but to no avail. St.Clair dominated the score board from the first period through to the third.
Our defensive team held their own, protecting our goalie Alyssa in the net. She was able to deflect, and make some dives to save us, only letting a few by.
In the third period Claire had a break away moving up center ice right towards their net. Claire passed the puck back to Sadie who found the back of the net to put us on the scoreboard.
St.Clair was a big, tough team we will face again. Back to practice to prepare.
