Staying Strong
The novice girls hosted North Middlesex Saturday evening in their home Mitchell arena. The girls held their own through the whole game and stayed strong. Newbie goal tender Alyssa stood tall between the pipes, making many great saves, always watching the puck.
The defense played their positions strong, protecting their net and moving the puck out of our end. The offense had some good shots throughout the game. Some break-aways by Sadie and Alia tested the North Middlesex goalie, who was successful in guarding her net.
A scrimmage in front of their net, seemed to work as Charlie found the back to score the lone goal.
Great solid effort girls. Keep it up.
